70% Carricante 30% Catarratto from Sicily and yes I needed Jancis Robinson et al. to tell me what those grapes are. Dry with nice aromatics (curry, cumin, dried red pepper) and minerality. If you had told me this was Vermentino I would have believed you. Very nice and yes @Brendan Devine it’s natty. — 2 months ago
Super delightful, and flexible. Floral and fruity, it went with a strawberries and lemon sorbet as well as with an onion galette. — 14 days ago
Med straw color. Honeysuckle, melon, stone, slight gardenia. Med acid. Pleasant wine, — 22 days ago
Rich aroma of blueberry, cherry, and blackberry; bouquet of some oak and hint of anise if you search for it; surprisingly smooth tannin for 2018. $22 from BGarden — 2 months ago
Complexity. A bit animal flavor. Concentrated. Wine lovers like. @460(2300), Piccola, 210325 — a month ago
Burnt pizza crust, hints of basil, super smooth structure and light tannins — a month ago
Complex rich and dreamy for a sub 20 Barbera, pleasantly surprised — 2 months ago
Perhaps a bit one-dimensional, but that’s what I expect and like in a Barbera d’Asti. Not complex, but still good. Pairs great with just about anything. — 2 months ago

Ania bday wine. Bought at winery about 8 years ago. Last drank in PR last year. Awesome how amarone should be. Blackberry raspberry tobacco on nose. Delicious cherry prune with chocolate mid plate followed by cherry again or is it prune. A red fruit black fruit mixed to perfection with some earthy tobacco overtones. Damn wish Gad another couple of bottles. Awesome. One of my top 8 amarone producers. Delicious. — 13 days ago
