On day 1, I wasn’t that impressed. On day 3, this is really singing. The red fruit aromas go on and on - one of those wines you could just keep smelling. A bit less acid than I was hoping for, but I agree with Matthiasson’s winemaker note: “the Nebbiolo is unmistakable on the finish, with the silky but firm tannins and noble bitterness” — 2 months ago

Probably would have been better with a decant but opened this to replace a corked wine and so it goes. 13.5% Napa cab. Always appreciate the matthiasson style with wines like this. Velvety with deep red and purple fruit. Great acid and a nice finish. Quite a lot of sediment. — 2 months ago
