Lovely. Rounded taste. Not sharp. Oak. Kerrie also liked. — 5 years ago
Deep ruby hue with high saturation. Aromas and flavors of baking spice, blackberry, cream, jam, oak, raspberry, and vanilla. Medium-high body; medium-plus tannins; and medium-high acidity. Enticing nose; smooth palate; lovely, long finish. Solid Napa Cab, silky and balanced. Majority of fruit from Yountville, and the rest from Calistoga. Barrel-aged in French oak (45% new) for 19 months. — 6 years ago
Bold, jammy aroma of ripe red and purple fruits. Thin front, fruit-forward mid-palate, and a velvety finish. Alcohol, chocolate, and ash linger on the end. Juicy, but bigger on the nose than the palate. — 8 months ago
Inspired by Jim to drink our bottle of Ugni blanc and it did not disappoint, great balance and acidity, with hints of apple on the nose. — 5 years ago
