So well presented on the nose and palate. Pure grapefruit nose, with tension and bright acidity on the mid-palate. Really nice honied sweetness balanced out pure Sancerre. I don’t detect any wood treatment, which enables the squeaky clean presentation to dominate. — 6 months ago
High acidity and nice body. Good texture for a white. Citrus and saline notes. Excellent! — a month ago

No bite, very smooth and not overly dry or sweet. — 7 months ago
Somewhat disappointing Sancerre, slightly flat. On sale for $22.79, regularly $25.29. — a month ago
Everything I want in a Sancerre. This one has some age and it has held up. — 5 months ago
The wine of the evening is the 2020 Domaine Dominique et Janine Crochet Sancerre. From the Loire Valley Bué-en-Sanccerrouis. 100% Sauvignon Blanc.
On the nose there is lime, white peach, grapefruit, passionfruit, herbaceous, minerality and wet river rock.
On the palate I can tell there is lime, grapefruit, pear, white peach, river rock and finty minerality.
This is a beautifully classic Loire Valley Sancerre that is medium bodied with a crisp fresh mouthfeel medium+ to high acidity with a long citrus stoney minerality finish. Have a great weekend and please stay safe and healthy. Nostrovia! 🥂🥂🥂🥂 — 7 months ago
