Needs some air time to fully show its complexity. Intense nose has freshly-sliced green apple and loads of slatey minerality. In the mouth there’s intense acidity magna-leving the crisp green apple and citrus pith fruit and mineral notes. Not the most concentrated or lengthy but a great value. — 9 months ago

Dry on the palate and elegant, with medium acidity.
Full bodied and bold with nice complexity.
Showing citrus, yellow apples, pears, lemons, light earth, oak, spices, vanilla, nuts, smoke, light almonds and white pepper.
Long buttery finish with almonds and limes.
This is a very tasty and elegant 4-year-old oaky Chardonnay from Lazio in Italy. Aging nicely now, and will continue to do so in the next few years. Would be nice to revisit it in couple of years.
A good quality wine, and better when not too cold.
This is not my favorite style, but this one is really nice. Feels like a white Burgundy.
Good by itself as a sipping wine.

Terra Mater, Magna limited reserve, carmenère, DO valle de curicó, 2015
Opened yesterday and it was too oaky and all over the place. 24 hours later it's settled and the wine is presenting itself in a much better way. It's even not bad at all! The nose shows blackberry, coconut, vanilla, oak, coffee, tar. The palate is very rounded with blackberry, cocoa and coffee notes, some width and almost a lactic touch. The tannins are well integrated now and leave a silky layer over the finish that goes on for a reasonable time. It's reminiscent of a nice Bordeaux except for that coconut scent on the nose. For about 11 USD in a supermarket nearby it's a steal! — a month ago
