These are really old vines and it shows. Very elegant and fresh, balanced, wonderful crushed violets and rose fannèe, bright acidity. More evolved than we thought. Really good to drink now. Recommended. — a month ago

Really interesting remember having this variety when Heitz Vineyard used to produce one of the few domestic producer - but this one from Asti is really interesting (reminds me of Pineau d’Aunis from the Loire ) beautiful rose petal nice cherry candied fruit in the mouth with some grip ( it is 2018 vintage) very light color (almost rose) — a month ago

Really good minerals, first thing. Aromatic, but limited, like really honeyed sprite. Smells almost like an aged spatlese. Looks lightweight but has a slightly heavier body than appears, like gasoline does. Don’t get this confused with petrol taste, but the weight has that alchemy. Unlike Riesling it has a bitter and spicy phenolic note at the end that seems to come with more southern whites. Middle weight in reality. Good heavy orchard fruit. I like fiano and I’m still learning it’s limits. Every once and awhile I find a great one, but I want to learn what the typicality is. — a month ago
