A fairly ambitious Malbec blend with Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Petit Verdot, and Cabernet Franc. Dry on the palette with flavors of plum, blackberry, licorice, bitter tobacco, earth, coffee, with raisins and cherry Ludens on the finish. With each sip I can pick out every grape, if I try real hard. Quite tannic, and my 2nd glass will be in an hour or more, after it catches its breath.
A very enjoyable bargain!

Blend of 70% Grenache, 17% Mourvèdre, 10% Syrah & 3% Cinsault, deep Ruby color with aromas of berry fruits, oak and floral spice. On the palate flavors of black cherry and blackberry with oak, herb spice and floral notes. Wine was complex and elegant with fine smooth tannins, long fruit and spicy finish. Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of 90 minutes. The 2023 pours a straw color with medium viscosity. On the nose, the wine is developing with powerful notes of tart and ripe, citrus and tropical, fruit: grapefruit, passionfruit, white and yellow flowers, alfalfa, jalapeño pepper, and flinty minerals . On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+. Drink now. — 3 months ago
