Château de Pibarnon (Comte de Saint Victor)

Bandol Rosé Blend 2020

Firecracker strawberry with a slippery slide: quiet to bold.

Humming strawberries, white pepper, and thyme, then something spicier, deeper, candied, rich & savory.

So juicy and delicious with a dark chocolate flourless brownie. Amplified the cocoa notes with the brownie. Dark cherry, baking spice — 2 years ago

This wine is hitting on all cylinders. Full bodied, fruit forward, lots of cherries and no more tannins. Wish I had more. — 4 years ago

Saint-Victor Coteaux d'Aix-en-Provence Rosé 2022

Yet another overachieving ‘22 Provence rosé; very satisfying after recent Provence vintages produced a cloying totty fruity pop. White flowers with a pinch of pepper greets you on the first swill. There’s some nice pineapple juice in the middle palate that takes you unexpectedly to a dry finish. This is good stuff and certainly worth a try. — 9 months ago

US Batch #33 Brut Champagne Blend

Actually #1 of batch #34. How fun to drink #1 of the batch! Nutty yeasty aroma. Crisp and refreshing bubbles for New Years brunch in front of the fire. Add some pomegranate seeds and be festive. — 3 years ago
