Nice Chardonnay. Not too much of anything. — 4 years ago
This one has fleshed out nicely over the last 2 years, showing better balance and integration of flavors. Acidity has become more mellow. Nose of lava/asphalt/petrol and grilled lemon. Very mineral, earthy, and austere on the palate as well. Lemony, smoky and salty finish. Almost like a shot of tequila…! 🌵 🍋 🧂

Cool label. Vine drawing. Strange unknown Italian varietal. Dark as night in the glass. Can’t see through it. Lovely stewed fruits and molasses nose. Hint of wet rocks. Forest streams. Flavors are complex and complex. Some black pepper. Bit of black olive. Streak of perfect blackberry jelly. Tannins are balanced. Smooth, but full of dense flavors. This is a great big boy red that’s a joy to drink. — 12 days ago
