The 2019 Chablis Les Vaillons Vieilles Vignes 1er Cru has a crisp nose of Granny Smith apples, freshly sliced Nashi pear, wild fennel, green olives and touches of crushed limestone. The palate is fresh and crisp on the entry, demonstrating admirable weight. A little viscosity toward the finish betrays the warmth of the summer, yet the acidity keeps it fresh and tensile. The 2019 Chablis Les Vaudevey 1er Cru has a pretty nose of tinned white peaches mixed with vanilla pod, showing fine delineation and focus, though not complex. The citrus-fresh palate is vibrant with good acidity, showing subtle peach and pear notes toward the minerally finish. This has a bit of a skip in its step. (Neal Martin, Vinous, October 2021)

The 2019 Chablis Les Blanchots Grand Cru is very well defined on the nose, where sea spray and oyster shell notes combine with citrus aromas. Hints of green olive emerge with time. The well-defined palate is taut on the entry, with hints of chai tea and chamomile infusing the white peach and citrus notes, and builds nicely toward a very composed finish. Superb.
