Medium lemon colour . Quite rich with lemon rind , honied notes , buttered popcorn and orange flowers. On the palate much more strict and linear , with ripe apricot , lemon rind , orange , lovely intensity and balanced acidity . After a while more mineral and linear , intense acidity . This is drinking well with time in the glass , but will continue to improve over the next 5 years or so and continue well a further 5 . — 6 days ago

2000 vintage. Medium-heavy body (still!). Nose a mix of continuing fresh berries/fruit and secondary flavors. Only small hints of tertiary flavor right now. What it lacked in complexity on the finish, it made up for with full-throttle power throughout. Another 7-10 years should reveal this Grand Cru at the top of its game. 12.11.24. — 23 days ago
