I have never came across a $10 bottle that ages this beautifully. This 12-year old Merlot is mind boggling.
The regal nose opened up with subtle incense, autumn leaves, hint of barnyard and fermented black tea. Just when I thought there was not too much fruits left, red cherry, plum, and cherry cola emerged with vanilla and herbs. Medium body still feels vibrant with just enough acidity to balance the ripe and sweet tannins, which still had some teeth left. Still have plenty of life ahead.

Bought this in 2014 from Lsat Bottle. Should have bought more, it was a steal at the time and it has gotten even better in the last 5 years. Not too acidic, good amount of yeast, and overall excellent sparkling wine. 69% Pinot Noir, 31% Chardonnay — 17 days ago
Sage and rosemary scented beef sausage that’s smoking on the grill. That’s the overwhelming nose but there is so much more. Chocolate, anise, Chinese five spice, black tea, gunpowder, cherry. — 6 days ago
Crisp, oak and apple on the nose, grass, vanilla, long aftertaste. Nice summer drink. — 5 days ago
Incredibly fresh and balanced! Light, abundant berry and stone fruit notes of raspberry and peach! Our first of 3 wedding wines from a gift! Definitely one of the best sparkling wines I’ve ever had! — 20 days ago
This Syrah is medium red cloudy color and has a funky barnyard stewed meat nose. Bursts of blueberry strawberry fruit on the pallet with a definite mineral green veggie and pepper tar finish. The scent of the barnyard meaty nose lingers as you taste the fruits of the wine giving it a fully body feel. — 7 days ago
Blackberry, raspberry, cherry, cassis, vanilla, loganberry, licorice and oak. Great structure and moderate tannins. — 5 days ago
