Trying the Mas de Daumas Gassac lineup. Aside from their flagship Languedoc red this might be my fav. It’s rose sparkling with incredibly bright strawberry notes and deep acidity. Light lees flavour. The hefty body and full mousse really make it stand out. Wow. — a month ago

Still tasting fresh and alive at 40 years! Black fruit present along with mushroom, cedar, and vanilla spice. Tannins are softened but still providing a structure for the wine. — a month ago

Our New Year’s Eve wine is 2005 Kapcsandy Family Winery Estate Cuvée State Lane Vineyard. Still too early to open this? After four hours, the wine finally showed us who she was. Elegant, yet still restrained. We also opened 1996 Duckhorn Vineyards Napa Valley Merlot. Still drinkable. You can still enjoy the history. Bye bye 2025.
