Decanted 45 min though think it needs more time, very young wine. Very aromatic fruit when opening the bottle. Dark red fruit - black cherry and plum, raspberry; chocolate, coffee, graphite, pepper, plush tannins, well integrated acidity, high ABV but hides it well. Medium finish. Purple red, very good clarity, moderately extracted pigment. Spearmint, thyme and raspberry notes in nose. Raspberry, cola flavors, tangerine peel finish. Nice acidity, medium body, slight seed bitterness in aftertaste. Needs a little time to integrate after opening. Moderate skin astringency emerges after 30 minutes. 24 hours later, boom, cherry and plum flavors with depth. Super wine if you can decant it long enough, impressive varietal character — 6 years ago
