Brings to mind Thompson Seedless raisins. Like a port in table wine form. If you’re at a Bonpreu, this may be your safest bet amongst the reds. — a month ago
Delish. At first blush, it seems like this will be lighter than it should be, but then a rush of raspberry and brambleberry, with dried spice and earth comes in. Lovely. Had it with steak, and I think the steak over powered it a bit. Maybe better with a cheese plate or chicken or duck… would happily drink this again. — 7 days ago
Great Chianti, well balanced. — 10 days ago
Dark ruby color with a cranberry colored meniscus. Intense aromas of tobacco, wet soil, graphite and dried purple flowers with a subtle black fruit note. The savory palate also is full of tobacco, bramble, dried citrus, black tea and baker’s chocolate with just a bit of black berry/cherry/plum fruit. Hint of baking spices on the medium finish. Very low acidity and little in the way of tannin. Probably a bit past its prime but still quite complex. Extremely earthy and dense. Better with aeration and with food. Also better the second day. — 12 days ago

Wine of the Year by WS in 2020. Revisiting this jewel is magical. Wine is aging incredibly well. Showing secondary and tertiary characteristics. The tannins are becoming fine grain and velvety. The fruit even more consentrated. — 2 days ago
