Rich, full body this rose behaves like a blend red!
The best Bandol for me so far — 3 days ago
Nice, easy drinking, nice finish, — 20 days ago
Delicate peach, and a hint of bubble gum and lightly herbaceous on the nose. Nice acidity. Fresh and lovely. — a month ago
A classic! Got to love the color on Trinquevedel. Candied apple, watermelon. Great wine, friendly price. — 3 months ago
I have not had many DP Rose’s. On the nose, extremely expressive scents of red fruits & flowers. One of the most powerful champagnes I have tasted. I felt like my taste buds were being held hostage by various red fruit and acid. An unapologetic finish that handcuffed my mouth.. — 8 hours ago
Fab length and lovely limey/tropical finish into savoury. Not bone dry. Delicious. Would age — 22 days ago

Upon opening, this seemed a bit disjointed, with muted fruit flavors and strong herbal notes. Decanting didn’t seem to help much, but day 2 it finally opened up nicely, with nice complexity and intensity on the palate. Cherry, raspberry, cassis, bay leaf, dried Italian herbs, anise, cloves, vanilla, cedar, earth, and balsamic notes all come through. Really tasty, but maybe a bit too intense. I can see this improving with a few more years of aging so the flavors coalesce and soften a bit more. — a month ago
Blood orange and cloves as well as cherries in the nose. A bit of vanilla as it opens up. Tastes of tangerine and clove with a sweet cherry after taste. — 5 days ago
2023. Complex red fruit, floral, herbal, mineral, almost savory and saline. Opened to have while preparing dinner and with some caprese salad, but we ended up having some left to have with our grilled steak and asparagus with which it paired surprisingly well. — a month ago

This is the Ode to Lulu Mourvèdre Rose (back label says that it’s “ancient vines” grown on sand, so maybe mostly CCC fruit?). The color so pale as to almost resemble a skin contact “orange” white wine. Nose is all fruit. Nectarine, strawberry, an orange-zest thing too. Dry and so gulpable. Dangerous on a warm and humid afternoon! — 14 days ago
