Glen Parker

Galen Glen

Stone Cellar Grüner Veltliner

Ah Gruner.

Nice clear pale yellow.

Melon, mineral, tropical fruits, pineapple, and a bit of petrol.

Slight slight effervescent quality. Great, solid expression of gruner. Chalky, loamy, pineapple, and limestone.

Marcella's Santa Barbara County White Blend 2021

Ming L
9.0

The fruits for 2021 Marcella’s were all from the winery home estate vineyard. Peach, pear, apple, lemon zest, and subtle fresh herbs. The palate is lively and nicely texture. Salty minerals on the finish.
65/29/6 Grenache Blanc/Viognier/Vermentino. Very good QPR.

Ashley's Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir 2010

Ming L
9.4

While PN from Sta. Rita Hills is known for its bight red cherry fruits, this one has a bit more dark fruits laced with warm spices and still vibrant acidity. The palate is supple and elegant with deep complex flavors. Velvety tannins. At its peak. — 5 months ago

Dry petit manseng. Tropical fruit and honey, with enough acid to cut it ten years later. Perfect with szechuan. — 9 months ago

Laurel Glen Vineyard

Sonoma Mountain Estate Cabernet Sauvignon 1997

Really? Wow. At 26 years old, not only hanging in there… but highly enjoyable. The mustiness had to blow off for a while, and then it hit its stride. Some toasty fruit remains in front of a long finish. cheers to ending 2023. …. Still going. Finish still going…. Going… — 4 months ago

Patrick Campbell "got it." Only Cabernet Sauvignon from ANY producer with the word "Sonoma" on the label that I've ever had that absolutely kicked ass and took names. Can still taste the 1986, 1987, 1990, 1991, 1992 and 1994. The new version of Laurel Glen Cab is a far cry from what it used to be. Lucky you got a fleeting glimpse of a great vintage from an excellent property under the guidance of a supremely underrated winemaker. Happy New Year!
