Crisp, tight dark red fruit that initially hid the earthy, forest floor flavors. It ultimately all integrated nicely in about an hour. Always an interesting ride with a Barolo. This one was 12 years old so we thought we didn’t need to decant….had to be patient instead. — a month ago
So juicy and tasty, such structured wine but super smooth at the same time — a month ago

Straw lemon color with aromas of stone fruits, citrus and floral notes, made with the Cortese grape. On the palate flavors of pear, green apple and lemon citrus with lively acidity and blossom notes. Medium savory finish ending with citrus and floral mineral character. — a month ago
Extremely enjoyable, great substitute when you don’t want to pay 4x for the Barolo. Plenty of depth and intrigue here. Pleasure. — a month ago
2007 vintage drinking very well - was almost ready out of the bottle but improved with a few hours in the decanter. Wonderful red fruit on the palate with strawberries, raspberries and red cherries. Alcohol was slightly perceptible. This is in a good place and seems unlikely to improve much, but nowhere near a state of decline. Fruit is still quite primary with nice acidity — a month ago
I might have had three glasses of this before I realized others at the table might want some of it. — 4 days ago
I am intrigued by this wine- it has subtle minerality with a clean finish. I plan to track down more:) — 20 days ago
No idea how a 16.3% ABV wine is this smooth. Tons of crushed raspberry with a red licorice finish. Almost seems refreshing. — a month ago

Very hot year with very ripe fruit, blackberries, plums, leather and tar. Extremely well balanced in spite of the 16.5 alcohol. Wonderful. — 3 days ago
