Réserve Vieilles Vignes Alsace Pinot Blanc 2018

Fruity, bubblegam smell. Very easy on palate, pure white grape taste. No tannin. Short (2s) aftertaste with a "wet" mouth feel and dry finish. — 2 days ago

Osterberg Alsace Grand Cru AOC Riesling 2016

Intriguing sip by sip just when you think you know it this gives you something more. Upfront citrus, peach, and some flowers. Then all sorts of elements get into a whole medley from almond extract to miso. Such fun. — 5 months ago

Sakana dinner 11/18/21 with Wilson/Mabel. Wonderful Alsatian Riesling. White fruited stony floral nose with a hint of petrol. Lively firm texture and stimulating on palate carrying through to finish. Impressive. However beat out by Deiss for the omakase pairing. Would make for great pairing elsewhere and still an impressive white wine. — 7 months ago

Kientzler

Osterberg Grand Cru Riesling 2016

Honoring International Riesling Day with a lean, dry glass from Domaine Kientzler, hailing from the Osterberg Grand Cru Vineyard in Alsace. Vintage 2016; ABV 13.5%. Vibrant acidity paired with stony, chalky, white blossom, citrus, white peach, and petrol notes.

Cheers to this aromatic, dynamic, and age-worthy variety!
