Simply a spectacular Chardonnay from somewhere you wouldn’t expect. Peach on the nose, soft oak, minerality and citrus on the palate and a finish that lingers forever. Wow! — 3 years ago
A gorgeous estate Pinot Gris from Hugel. Dry and lush on the palate with just a kiss of RS on the back end. The finish shows touches of spice and stone that linger for a minute or longer. Beautiful with lots of life ahead of it. — 4 years ago
A simply beautiful GG from Donnhoff. Firm aromas of lemon pith and wet stone lead to a delightfully soft palate. Juicy flavors of lemon, lime and underripe stone fruits lead to drying notes of limestone and white pepper. The finish is long and tart with a touch of grated time zest. A beautiful place in its evolution. — 3 years ago
A gorgeous wine, perfectly aged. Blue fruits, earth and soft acidity in perfect balance. Absolutely delicious! — 3 years ago
Young and assertive red blend. Cab dominate in this vintage and it really shows, especially on the nose. Black fruits and mocha lead to a juicy palate with notes of black plum, black cherry, mocha, and dried herbs de Provence. Soft, dusty tannins show on the long, smooth finish. — 3 years ago
Given an hour in the decanter this wine comes alive. Soft and earthy with a kiss of red fruit with a hint of barnyard that comes with age. — 3 years ago
A wine in a perfect place of maturity. A half hour in the decanter allows the wine to reveal a balance of dark fruit and earth on the nose. The palate is still lively with bright acidity and lush fruit with just a kiss of wet earth on the back end. The finish is incredibly long with very soft, drying tannins and lingering black earth. — 3 years ago
Easily a top 5 2020 rosé that I’ve had so far, a list that includes at least 50 French rosés. Bright fruit on the nose, with a dry, plus palate full of fruit and acidity and just a touch of tannin from the skin contact. — 4 years ago
Classic Cremant Rose. Bright, crisp and dry with lush red fruits and small, elegant bubbles. — 4 years ago

It’s incredible, this wine doesn’t look like it’s aged a day since I first tried it 9 years ago at the winery. A deep purple color in the glass that barely fades at the rim. The nose is soft and pure brunello, dusty earthy notes of sour cherry, anise sand a touch of dried porcini. The palate shows wonderful structure and acidity for 15 years of age. Rich fruit notes with notes of dark earth lead to dusty, drying tannins. The finish seems everlasting with acidity dancing on the tongue along with a hint of spice. I really do wonder how far this would have gone. Wonderful wine! — 2 years ago
