A gorgeous estate Pinot Gris from Hugel. Dry and lush on the palate with just a kiss of RS on the back end. The finish shows touches of spice and stone that linger for a minute or longer. Beautiful with lots of life ahead of it.

Sold in the Fat Duck. Quite a strong flavour which probably works well with food. Drunk on its own it was nice but maybe the after taste was a tad strong.
