This was the WOFTN. Even better than the 03 Calon-Segur & 21 Lithology, but the Lithology had been open a week in the cooler. Still good just not its true self.

The winemakers for the 2016 Kelly Fleming Cabernet Sauvignon were Rebecca George and Françoise Peschon. Rebecca George was the day-to-day winemaker, and Françoise Peschon, consulting Winemaker.

Would have guessed maybe 2017 or so… such a young and lively wine for a 2009. A year that was hot and sunny in the Loire, but that is not a problem here. — 3 years ago

2022 vintage. Tasted via Coravin. Medium-heavy body. Trashed label, tawdry goods. Knows exactly how to seduce and deliver and how. Plenty of acidity, fruit, minerals and balance. Excellent concentration throughout and pretties up on the loooong finish. An ascendant star. 02.26.25. — 8 months ago
