Another new summer Broc. Love it. Dark rosé (almost a light red) made from 90% Barbera and 10% Nero d’Avola. Cherry, cranberry and watermelon candy. Great acidity from the Barbera and delicious fruitiness from the Nero. Extra chilled, good on ice. I’d take this over a mass market Provence any day. — a year ago
Ruby color with aromas of dark red fruits, black tea, herb and floral spice. On the palate flavors of cherry, blackberry and plum with tobacco, cedar, black pepper, herb and slight vanilla spice. Smooth fine tannins, long finish, well balanced with acidity, ending with fruit, herb, spice and wet stone character. Wish cork was protected and not exposed. Tasting Sample. A little pricey, but very nice! — 2 years ago
Super well balanced. Gentle and polished. I would liken it to an aged Sangiovese. Ripe fruit. Great acid. Good minerality. Awesome finish. Dozzinos — 3 years ago

From a Ken Wright vineyard, Ruby color with aromas of dark red/blue fruits, black tea, herb and floral spice. On the palate flavors of blueberry, blackberry and plum with tobacco, cedar, black pepper and herb spice. Smooth fine tannins, long finish, well balanced with acidity, ending with fruit, herb, spice and mineral stone character. Wish cork was protected and not exposed. Tasting Sample. A little pricey, but very nice! Organic! — 2 years ago
Great wine. Very unique with low abv but a ton of flavor. Tart berries, boysenberry, cherry, with some tart and acidic apple and maybe rose like characteristics. Overall just a ton of bright fruit. Definitely green apple on the finish as it lingers. Great wine!!! Can’t wait for more of these from brocs new vineyard. — 3 years ago
Bologna and sweet tarts. It’s got zest, some funk, meaty smell with some initial barn farts, but really smooths out. It’s the best adult meal—preserved meat and corner store candy. — 4 years ago
Another new one, unusual Cali Cortese with 12 years. Color on the yellow amber side and nose with mature notes with a touch of oxidation. Balanced on palate — 7 months ago
Ahh good to be home. Second vintage of Broc’s Vermentino, and the last of my summer shipment. I didn’t like the 2023 so much, but now I’m sure I had an off bottle. Not fully corked, but it was much funkier, which I thought was from the brief skin contact. This bottle of 24 is really nice. Lemon and citrus, light pear, salt and black pepper. Not hazy or funky like an orange wine. Nuanced but still casual. — 10 months ago
I don’t remember this because delectable took too long to identify it but I do remember that Anos is Spanish for butthole — 2 years ago
Love this wine - so fresh and laidback! This vintage is true to an Italian field blend, made from all Italian grapes harvested on the same day in September: 47% Sangiovese Piccolo, 34% Dolcetto, and 19% Ribolla Gialla (no Sauvignon Blanc this year). Grown in the Fox Hill Vineyard. 335 cases. Juicy and bright raspberries, blueberries and cherries, but dry and light-bodied. — 3 years ago
