So grateful to be able to dink this wine Thanksgiving Eve. — a month ago
This is a very distinctive, powerful and deep Zinfandel from Lodi, California. Vertically Sourced and produced by Oak Ridge from its own ancient +100-year-old vines. It packs tons of dark cherry and berries and is very chocolaty, since this is a reserve version, the lingering oak and texture is very long but not overwhelming. — 23 days ago
Well balanced. Peppery and nearly perfect. Thoroughly enjoyed it. — 11 days ago
Red fruits, black plum, oak, tobacco, smoke, leather, excellent balance. A little too soft for my taste — 17 days ago
Medium deep ruby , quite narrow rim . Touch of earthy menthol , tobacco , spicy blackcurrant, grafite . On the palate quite dusty , with earthy sous bois , blackcurrant, ripe blackberry , grafite and tobacco , cocoa hints. Quite rich but balanced , good acidity, quite dusty tannins . This is probably at peak now though will last well another decade perhaps . — 25 days ago
Good acidity, on the fuller side of riesling tastes a little off dry. Tropical fruit, petrol notes, a touch of honey. — a month ago

Deepest of Ruby color. Amazing nose with a hint of cinnamon. I’m a big fan of Malbec but the petit Verdot really balances this wine out. Great legs and deep color make a visually appealing drink. Tons of fruit and mild tannins to balance the fruit out. Drinking this wine on Christmas Eve and I feel a little guilty like I opened a present early. Trefethen never disappoints. — 16 hours ago
