Perfect for a summer day! Bright citrus, light fizz. Delightful. — 4 years ago
Tuesday the 26th of January was Australia Day and a public holiday. What better way to celebrate than Australia’s best fizz Arras Grand Vintage from Tasmania. Quite light lemon in colour. Very citrussy and mineral on the nose. 7 years on Lees showing in the complexity of the palate which still shows tension and refreshment. See previous notes for the 2007 which was slightly better and Champion Wine of the Royal Brisbane Show. — 5 years ago
2011 Vintage. 15.4% Alcohol. 38% Syrah, 24% Grenache, 21% Mourvèdre, 10% Tempranillo, and 7% Counoise. 56% from Paderewski Vineyard and 44% from Catapult Vineyard. Blackberry jam nose and fruit profile that did better with 2+ hours in the Magnum decanter while watching NYE programs including “I’ll have what she’s having”. — 7 years ago

First Vinho Verde! Super light, crisp notes of lime, green apple, and florals. Slight fizz from a secondary fermentation. — 2 months ago
The Thibault-Jannison “FIZZ” sparkling wine is a simple joy & a half. The nose is a subtle, bright white peach, and when paired with any sort of seafood it becomes more than what it began as.
As it breathes and grows on the palate, I’m hard-pressed to find a sparkling wine that is this enjoyable- and yet this well-produced.
We’re having shrimp and buttery pasta tonight, and this simple-yet-truly-elegant wine just nailed it. — 5 years ago
One of my favorite rosés. Strawberry stems and granite. Acid, structure, perfect fizz. Absolutely stunning. Stock up on this for summer. — 6 years ago
Tart and tangy with funky minerals and a little fizz. Great in the summer and with sweet and spicy black pepper tofu and eggplant! — 7 years ago
Downed in an instant. Berry glitter party in you mouth. A hint of RS entirely balanced by the fizz. Honestly can’t remember flavors exactly, BUT I know it will make you feel like a star. — 7 years ago
Amazing - fantastic fruit and depth with strong tannin base. Had with game which was perfect. — 7 years ago
Tart, apples and strawberries. — 9 months ago
Light, acidic, crisp. Not super dry but also not sweet. Notes of grapefruit? — 2 years ago
2016. The liner of the screw cap was stuck to the bottle and there was a nice POP when I pulled it off, no other fizz in the wine. What was immediately released were big red fruit aromas. This trocken wine had more to offer than fruit, and the crisp acidity and minerals helped it pair great with a smoky wedding kielbasa, white bean, and mustard green ragout. — 5 years ago
Fruity, light n’ lovely — 6 years ago
Tart, with a hint of strawberries. Smells boozy, a nice hazy pink color with lots of sediment. Lovely color, like an LA bathroom from the 50s. Strong fizz. Does not pair well with donuts. — 7 years ago
Had this 1year ago. Founded in 1979 by John Shafer, went from riding trains in Chicago to riding a TD-9 tractor in Napa. Blend of 56%Merlot, 28%Cab Sauv & 16%Malbec, aged for 20 mos French oak, despite 15.3% ABV, it’s well balanced. Wonderful berry fruit aromas, flavors of cherry, jammy blackberry and rasp with notes of cacao and sweet herbs. Lingering finish ending with earthy mineral. Had this with a USDA prime Fillet. Drink now & over next few years, any longer the wine will lose vibrant quality. Nice! — 7 years ago
Minerals, minerals, and minerals. Stone fruit. Absolutely lovely fizz. Would bathe in. — 8 years ago
