2021 vintage. Decanted and tasted after 30 minutes at approximately 55 degrees. Medium body. Powerful core of acidic/citric concentration swaddled by delicate lanolin and oak. Textbook essential Chablis yet clinical and complicated. Spectacular. 2.25.26. — a month ago

Medium straw lemon colour . This is quite rich on the nose with lemon pith , touch of smoke , ginger and creamy , honeysuckle notes . On the palate this shows more yellow fruits, peach , apricot and lemon , good acidity and balance. Quite intense and long with chalky touches. Drinking well now but still quite fruit dominated. A really good bottle , completely another experience than the overly advanced bottle last year , this one showing youth and freshness , ripeness and intensity . Lovely now but will continue and probably improve over the next 5-10 years . — 22 days ago
Built up a bit of excitement in selecting this Nuit-Saint George, then opened it up and neaaahhh!
All a bit flat. Nothing terribly wrong and it wasn’t corked, just no major aromas or flavors. Guess you can’t win em all. Or, we’ve just been spoiled with amazing wine and every now and then you pick an average one.
Still a great meal 😊 — 23 days ago

My favorite Raveneau vintage and 2004 is absolutely pristine showing everything you could want from the legend—Captivating aromatics, a powerful, voluminous and waxy textured palate that comes with age, racy lemony acids and crystalline minerality. Not only is this brilliant vintage chiseled and laser focused but there is tremendous richness, weight and density. Finish just stays with you. The best showing I’ve had from the Forêt vineyard. — 7 days ago
