Apricot, lemon zest, lychee, and shortbread. Juicy and flavorful. — 5 months ago
Beautiful American Pinot Noir, powerful and masculine. Intense cherry flavor, followed by an elegant finish. — a year ago
Blend 95% Cabernet Sauv, 2% Merlot, 2% Petit Verdot, splash of Malbec, more cab heavy than prior vintages, deep Ruby, aromas of ripe black and red fruits with floral and earthy notes. On the palate flavors of cherry, blackberry, currants and licorice with vanilla, cacao, cedar and savory herbs. Long finish, well balanced, full tight rich tannins ending with fruit, cedar and earthy character. Nice! — a month ago
With a three hour decant still very tannic and stemmy. Probably needs another five plus years — 4 months ago
Fruit sourced from five vineyards, Brunate, Liste, Cerequio, Cannubi and Raviole. Medium Ruby red color with aromas of red fruit, earthy spices, floral and cedar. On the palate flavors of sour cherry and raspberry with notes of floral, smoky tobacco, vanilla and oak. Long finish, nice balance with fine soft tannins, ending with an earthy character. Good now, a few bottle years will benefit! — 10 months ago
Wine 1, with rack of lamb. As my drinking history shows, Raffault is a perennial favorite. 2017 is easy access with medium weight, wild red berry fruit, tomato leaf, and earth. Drink over the next five years. Holding ‘09, ‘14, ‘15, and ‘18 with patience. — 2 months ago

A Burgundian-styled Cab Sauv from the one of the most compelling Sub AVA of Napa mountains (Mayacamas) which has an amazing soil and solid influence from the Pacific. Crafted with an amazing balance of 68% Cab Sauv, 20% Merlot, 5% and the rest to round it off its structure and age ability. The 2011 is still climbing to its peak. Enticing notes of dry red fruits on the nose and mouth, delicate, outstandingly silky and nearly perfect balance!
The finish shows its beauty. (if you find it, it won’t disappoint you) it will give the run for the money. — 6 days ago
