Dark Ruby with aromas of fresh black fruits, complex with sweet spice. On the palate flavors of juicy black cherry and blackberry flavors with notes of cacao, oak and toasty spices, from cooler vintage. Deep Ruby, aromas of black berry fruit aromas with herb, mint and sweet spice. On the palate flavors of blackberry and cherry with cacao, vanilla and aromatic spice. Very light gold color. Peaches, pineapple, flint, and lemongrass on the nose. This is more Sauv Blanc and Riesling than previous vintages, Less acidity too. Still good, just different from previous vintages I’ve had. Great depth and long finish. Love the complexity and uniqueness! — 4 months ago

On the palate of this mostly Cab Sauv with a splash of Cabernet Franc (sometimes they use Merlot), sat on French oak for 18 months, about 30% new, deep Ruby with aromas of berries and rich spice. On the palate flavors of cherry and blackberry with tobacco spice, toasty oak and floral notes.
