On the palate flavors of cherry, plum & blackberry with floral, licorice, cacao and earthy notes, well integrated. So silky and weighty for a NZ Sauv Blanc (clearly from the extra hangtime and the Semillon). Love the melange of pyrazines and tropical fruit on the nose with savory herbs and lemon pith on the finish. Finding it hard to put this glass down! — 4 years ago

Referred to as the “Baby Grange,” blend of 53/47 Cab Sauv & Shiraz, aged for 12 months in American oak, partly in previous-vintage Grange casks. Dark Ruby with aromas of fresh black fruits, complex with sweet spice. On the palate flavors of juicy black cherry and blackberry flavors with notes of cacao, oak and toasty spices, from cooler vintage. Well balanced with acidity, full ripe tannins, long ending with smoky spice, fruit well integrated with oak, drink over next 10 years+, will only get better. Nice! — 4 months ago

Very light gold color. Peaches, pineapple, flint, and lemongrass on the nose. This is more Sauv Blanc and Riesling than previous vintages, Less acidity too. Still good, just different from previous vintages I’ve had. Great depth and long finish. Love the complexity and uniqueness! — 10 months ago

Blend of 96% Sauv Blanc with 4% Sauv Gris adding an interesting dynamic to the wine & distinctive aromas (prior to ‘18 vintage some Semillon added). Pale lemon color, citrus, tropical & floral aromas. On the palate peach, melon, herb & earthy tones, well balanced with acidity, smooth yet robust on a long finish ending rich with wet stone character. Good value! A Fav!! Not as good as the '21. This year offers 40% Merlot, 32% Cab Franc, 23% Cab Sauv and 5% Petite Verdot. IGT. Olive tamponade, a bit dusty and cedar opener. Full mouthfeel and very drinkable now, but this might benefit from a time out for a while. — 6 months ago

Blend of 83% Merlot; 12% Cab Sauv, and 5% Petit Verdot, aged 17 months in French oak (30% new), very deep Ruby with rich aromas of dark ripe fruit and sweet spice notes. On the palate flavors of cherry, raspberry and plum with soft sweet vanilla spice, cacao and cedar. Fine tannins, long finish ending with balanced mineral wrapped in cacao and oak.
