A blend of 90% Cab Sauv, 7% Petit Verdot & 3% Malbec, aged in 50% new French oak for 20 months. Deep Ruby with purple edges, aromas of dark fruits, oak and pepper spice. On the palate flavors of plum, blackberry, currants, cacao and cigar-box spice. Full-bodied, tight grainy tannins on a long finish ending with fruit, spice and oak, very pleasant. Wait on this. Nice!

On the palate plum, blackberry, currants, cacao and sweet spice. Full-bodied, tight with layers of fine soft tannins on a long finish ending with fruit and oak, very pleasant.

Stags’ Leap - The Leap 2015 cabernet sauvignon !!!!!! Another perfect cab. Huge dark fruit on the beginning, blackberry, dark currant, and boysenberry. Spicy chocolate in the middle finished with oak and cigar - moderately dry. One of my all time favorites.

OUTSTANDING CABERNET ! 2015 Stags Leap - The Leap! Blackberry and raspberry followed by chocolate and oak with a graphite finish which is moderately dry. Oh - then comes the buttery long finish. Who could ask for anything more in a cab? At 80 dollars a bottle this is a date wine for sure! Tonight I am my own date!!

Shy nose with black mulberries, sour cherry, a hint of mint and herbs. Smooth round entry with grainy tannins. The wine is modern, rich and voluptuous with brooding black fruit on the finish.
