07- right in its middle age. A kaleidoscope of dark fruits both fresh and dried. Rum, brown spices, walnut husk and cherry cola. Tannins resolving. Length very good.

Amazing structure. Some floral red fruit on the nose, then a wonderfully structured dark chocolate and cocoa notes. Ripper super-Tuscan!

Lucky enough to try the '07 and '08 side by side last night...splitting hairs when picking a favorite. Ton of sediment from the '07 and a dominant nose and flavor of cigar box, plum and cedar.
