Very nice blend with plenty of fruitiness, a hint of smoke and excellent finish. 2019 vintage — 23 days ago
The 2019 Nobile di Montepulciano is a pleasure on the nose. Sweet spice complements raspberry and cherry aromas. Juicy acidity balances silky textures as rose-tinged red berries cascade across the palate. There’s a gentle coating of fine tannins and lovely energy as hard red candy hints fade. $25.00 (Eric Guido, Vinous, November 2023) — 6 days ago
Garnet , ruby core , with terracotta rim . Quite ripe juicy nose , blueberry , blackberry , with an earthy , cedar tinged note and touch of mint . On the palate more reserved , with dark cassis , blackberry , scorched earth , tobacco , cedar . Good refreshing acidity , slightly drying tannin. Quite good length, after a while a mineral , crushed rock note . This is at peak now in magnum, for now and the next 5-8 years . Bottles drink now and over the next few years I would imagine — 15 days ago
So good with a heavy pasta — 2 days ago
Bright red candied cherry aromas, green tobacco, forest floor, dried herbs. Solid wine for the money. — 25 days ago
Drinking beautifully… dark cherry, light spice, fruit forward with tannins dissipating after 15 minutes in the decanter. This remains a marvelous Chianti in the traditional style as Laura Bianchi continues the legacy of this great family of vintners. — 15 days ago
Popped and poured; enjoyed over several hours. Clearly showing the solar nature of the vintage, the 2015 Fèlsina CCR pours a deep garnet color with a near opaque core. Medium viscosity with no staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is vinous with notes of stewed cherries and strawberries, well-oiled leather ball glove, red flowers, curaçao, dried green herbs, and sandalwood. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ tannins and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes of the nose. The finish is long, tart and satisfying with ferrous minerals. A lovely pairing with Conchiglie Ripiene. While this is fully mature, it still has a healthy life ahead. Drinking very well now and should through 2030 with ease. — 3 days ago
