Pleasant but past its peak. No acid left. Bland. — 5 months ago
This is nice. Blind I would have guessed Chianti Classico. The nose shows cherry, oak, tar, autumn leaves, black tea, coffee beans, a bit of meat juice. The palate is juicy and silky, with a nice cherry note shining through and through, some oaky touches, some meaty, savoury notes too along with that black tea thing. There is width, there is some matter too, and the silky mouthfeel turns into a massive tannic wall in the rear, that disrupts completely the entire mouthfeel. The finish is long, cherry and meat juice forward, sliding upon a nice, drying tannic layer for a good while. A tiny bitter note shows up in the very end. This is serious stuff, pretty classical in style when I compare it with chianti classico examples that I have tasted. I like that ! — 6 months ago
Really light for a barolo. Great with our food. With the family in Italy — 2 months ago
@Delectable Wine Not the Ravera. The Langhe Nebbiolo. — 5 months ago
This Italian IGT from Central Tuscany is truly a great representation of Merlot and Sangiovese blend is all about. What a great combination, this wine opens up with a unique aroma of red fruits, baked dark cherries and chocolate. Very soft tannins, smooth to the very end. Long but over lingering finish. Loved its balanced acidity and mouthfeel. — 9 months ago

Futili wine that is smooth, kind of creamy (not in a California Chardonnay kind of way though), that tastes a little like white flowers and linen. Just delicious. — 14 days ago
