Ripe fruits, medium+ body, just lovely. — 22 days ago
Initial notes of earthy blue cheese that morphed into dark cherry as it opened up. Drank alongside balada and grilled vegetables. — 6 months ago
This Italian IGT from Central Tuscany is truly a great representation of Merlot and Sangiovese blend is all about. What a great combination, this wine opens up with a unique aroma of red fruits, baked dark cherries and chocolate. Very soft tannins, smooth to the very end. Long but over lingering finish. Loved its balanced acidity and mouthfeel. — 17 days ago
How is this a Nebbiolo? So translucent and light — and delicious — 8 months ago
From magnum. Lift bodied with a ton of herbs and spice. The fruit was definitely secondary. Great with the pasta and steak. — a year ago
A fan of Morellino di Scansano, nice Sangiovese from Tuscany, loved the cherry and cranberry notes and taste with a slightly hint of tangerine, which makes this red a more acidic that the usual northern Tuscany ones. It is warm, approachable and super easy to drink. It’s already in its prime time. Lovely. — 17 days ago
Interesting blend from the Barbaresco. I know it’s Nebbiolo based, but it very much tastes like a Pinot to me. Crisp, light, balanced. Great value, and great food wine. — 2 months ago
Nearly 25 yr old white. Highly oxidative on open but mellowed out and perfectly accompanied halibut with beurre blanc dish at Chez Panisse — 9 months ago

Love me good Barbaresco. Lots going on. Menthol. Maybe some Ben Gay. Maraschino cherries. Really digging this wine. — a month ago
