Nose is very rocky with loads of flowers and fresh cherries and some cassis. Lovely wet earth as well. Echoes of Burgundy. Also that metal smell I get from Nerello and Etna wines. Fresh and energetic with an invigorating palate and not as much depth as the Chiuse Vidalba which is the high end cuvee but this is delicious and very well made. Nose has a floral-cassis thing that is so appealing. Nose now has hits of tar and forest floor. Really dig this. Super juicy and so pure. Excellent. Long as f. — 2 months ago
Delicious! Dark chocolate, blackberry, black currant, a little spicy and sweet. WS northern Italy tasting. — 3 months ago
Nose is soupy but fresh and airy with lovely and very expressive red fruits and a metal character I always find in Nerello. Assuming this is Nerello which it smells like. Spice and flowers and very harmonious aromas. Palate is fresh and incisive with lovely sweet fruit and soft tannins. Lush and fresh with good acidity and texture. Perfect balance and very mouthfilling. Finish is very volcanic and terrifically juicy. Creamy as well as it airs out. Good structure. This is very good and could be outstanding with air. This gets very profound with air. Deep intoxicating aromas. Wow. 9.3 to 9.4 with air and maybe higher. So juicy and a serene density. What length. This is a stunner. — 2 months ago
Reminds me a lot of Garnacha Blanca. Banana, apricot and yogurt on the nose. On the palate it retains a lot of stone fruit flavors. Flavorful finish. #biancoditorgiano #torgiano — 3 months ago
Torre Zambia Pecorino “Poggio Salaia” 2021: Clean. Bright. Balanced. Notes of lemon, orange & lychee. Soft minerality & a crisp, dry finish. Made with 100% Pecorino grapes from the Abruzzo region of Italy, this is the perfect wine for enjoying as an aperitivo or with a meal. For me, this would pair perfectly with fish, cheeses or white meats! Let’s not forget to mention: It’s sustainable. It’s organic. It’s vegan. Cheers🍷 — 4 months ago
Pound for pound at this price ($25-ish) this is the best pecorino I can think of that I have had. While Pepe's is the benchmark it's also 6-10 times the price in the US! I drank this a week apart over 3 nights from Coravin and it got better every time I went to it. More expressive and complex each time. Loads of pear, golden delicious apple, honey, minerals and florals, medium bodied but densely flavored, super long in the finish, this is a go to wine for me in my house for Italian whites. — 2 months ago
Nice nose of smoke, smashed rocks that echo slate, some rubber (but the good rubber) and a nice clear aromatic expression. Seems like it has more to give. Palate is ripe but also energetic and pillowy. Lovely green flavors and a long finish. Like a liquid satin. Very juicy on the finish. Balanced and pure. Good now but no fireworks. Let’s see if air provides the fireworks. Some nice sea breeze and saline aspects now on the nose. It’s nice but not sure if it will make the cut. I’m sure it’s a billion dollars. — 3 months ago

My favorite wine tastes like juice. With that being said, this is on the semi-dry side and I still love it. Mostly because it does not leave a dry feeling on your tongue. If I like it, it’s gotta be good! — 10 days ago
