Oh boy. First impression is a smack in the face petrol. Unmistakable, unapologetic, unforgettable. A beautiful bone dry American Riesling, that rivals any of its German counterparts. Knock me over with the Dowsett family feather and call me Dianne, this is a fantastic white wine. Crisp and acidic. Fun and delectable. Pair with any meal. Bring to any party. If you’re new to whites, or want to introduce someone to white wine, then start here. This is a winner from every perspective. Washington wines tend to be a bit pricy, but this smaller vintner gets it right and warrants the cost. The Columbia river valley is well represented here and this is a wine everyone should try at least once. Cheers! — 8 years ago
Holy acid ! My first impression is acidic, citrusy, with an exciting zesty finish. This particular wine is a departure from what I normally drink but goes to show that it can pay off when you step outside of your comfort zone. I feel like this wine would pair well with a plethora of different foods. I want some spicy fish, fresh sardines, or some fried heirloom tomatoes with fresh mozzarella and have fun playing with my palate. That’s the best word to describe this wine, fun. As of this writing the only pairing I have is more wine, so I’ll have to make due! — 8 years ago

Light, acidic, minerals. Crisp and fresh with a hint of fruity sweetness. Fun to drink and worth the money. Would pair well with a variety of foods. Simple, and right to the point. This wine reminds me of the chasm that exists between a $10 bottle and a $20 bottle. A fantastic Albariño, and I would highly recommend. — 8 years ago
Nice and light, low acidity. Honeydew notes, and a seeming lack of aroma. Not a remarkable wine, but not a bad purchase either. — 8 years ago
An interesting wine. My first impression is mustard, and maybe a subtle vinegar. Strange, yet impressive and satisfying. Light bodied, drinkable, with a playful complexity. Certainly will buy again. — 8 years ago
Geez. Where do I start? This wine isn’t for everyone. But for my palate it’s one of the best red wines I’ve ever tried. This vibrantly red carmenere is complex, and surpasses any expectations you may have had. Strong ocean scent. Salty, briny, fresh. — 8 years ago
I tried with this one but just couldn’t enjoy it. The finish consistently left me not wanting another sip. — 8 years ago
BlackBerry. Tannic. Fully flavored with solid 14% alcohol content. Strong, long lasting aroma and flavor. A vibrant, and satisfying Sangiovese. Would stand up well to spicy foods, or heavily flavored meat. — 8 years ago

Wonderful, unique bouquet. Melon, honey, citrus, and vegetal notes reminiscent of a classical French Sauvignon blanc. Moldovan wine is still under the radar and I’ve had several fantastic offerings. It’s rare to find this quality tethered to such an attractive price point. Buy it by the case and work on your “I had this back when it was affordable” speech. Fantastically creative — 7 years ago
