Delicious, garnet color, good age — 6 months ago
Age has turned this 2010 magnum coffee-chocolate brick brown, but if memory serves this is an appassimento, Amarone-esque wine. It shows raisin and plum behind grill notes and black tobacco, fig and date. Tart dried cherry palate echoes tobacco, espresso and offers a cassis note. Earthy and bold. This wine exudes muscle, but does not lean on a Jammy-ness or blowsy-ness to deliver it. Really different, and singular.

A very, very easy drinking rendition of the grape. Oodles of red cherry cordial on the nose, a little violet, earth. The palate provides sandy tannins that ease into silky territory with time. Flavors echo the nose: red cherry compote, a rose petal or so, and then this slight sanguine edge of dirt that points toward the varietal expression — 3 months ago
Delicious Langhe wine, reminds me of a Pinot Grigio — 2 years ago

Lovely 2013 - beautifully integrated tannins with plenty of fruit still standing. Another all around winner. From Sergio and his family. — 4 months ago

"Odedi"
Light ruby in color with a wide reddish rim.
Beautiful nose right out of the bottle, with wild flowers, herbs and light oak.
Medium plus in body with medium plus acidity.
Dry on the palate with raspberries, strawberries, tobacco leaf, herbs, peppercorn and chocolates.
Long finish with round tannins and tangy raspberries.
This 7 year old Barolo is drinking very nicely now. Big, bold and beautiful. Tasty and easy drinking.
Still young, and needs a few years in the bottle to mature properly. Will continue to age nicely in the next 5 to 10 years.
This Single Vineyard Barolo is a good food wine, and good by itself too.
100% Nebbiolo grapes were aged in large oak barrels for 18 months.
14% alcohol by volume.
91 points.
