Drinking this 2008 in 2026 and wow. What a treat. Dark berries. Subtle oak. Smooth silky on the tongue. What a bargain — 4 months ago
2018 vintage. A blend of Merlot (65%), Cabernet Franc (20%), and Cabernet Sauvignon from diverse vineyards in Saint-Emilion and Côtes de Castillon owned by the Perse family. Aged for 15 months in used barrels from Pavie and Monbousquet. A solid, bold wine, ready to drink, with good fruit and some of the chalkiness that I associate with Castillon. Abv. 14,5%. — 6 months ago

Read the hype, bought the bargain, drank it alone like a responsible adult. Too bad the 2021 is too young and tight-wound at first, but on day three it exhaled and pulled me completely inward. Magnetic. I am sold. Deep and complex, there are too many layers to name, but i immensely enjoy the fruit’s push against the savory pull. Quietly persuasive rather than flashy. — 6 months ago

This is definitely an extra dry. The champagne starts dry and finishes dry. In between there is nice green apple. A very nice drinking champagne!!! — 6 years ago
Very special rose from Barossa. Savory and ripe red berry flavors and intense flavor and long lasting. Will chill it and drink more later — 6 years ago

33% Roussanne, 32% Grenache Blanc, 14% Picpoul, muted aromatics, mineral and tart fruits on the palate, less oily/viscous than the 2021, lingering finish, I marginally prefer the better balanced 2021 to this 2022. — 8 days ago
