I’m baaaack! I’m sure no one missed me but I’ve been off the app for a while. Lots of life happening. So. Decided to jump back on due to a new to me Rose’ that I discovered. Germans can make wine! This is a wonderful deck wine with all types of food or by itself to celebrate the end of a long day. Everyone has described this wine spot on. For me though I get a slight hint of cinnamon on the end and the acidity is primo with smoked meats or a nice charcuterie! Love finding new gems! Enjoy. PS. I love this super-chilled but it is good at room temp as well. Thanks for putting up with the amateur!!! — 5 months ago

Amazing wine. Aroma is honeydew, apple, pear, apple blossom, honeysuckle, orange flower water, and even a hint of minerality in there. Palate has the same notes in the aroma, wine is a bit sweeter than I usually go for but not unbalanced with the acidity. Took down two bottles of it and could do more. Green Cap. Gorgeous nose of tiny green tomatoes, but in the very best way, slate, ripe orange melon, some spice and wild mint, slate and pulverized rock dust. So nuanced and clear. Palate is rich and ripe and has just enough sweetness to add an extra dimension of texture. Juicy, stimulating, salty and incisive and has astonishing purity and depth. Green fruits and some melon in the palate and great length, balance and poise. Great acids and such wonderful tension between the acid, sugar, minerals and fruit. Wonderful length on the finish. Really lingers. Crazy value here. This became so much more complete on day 2. So tasty, textured and fresh. Just an astonishing wine. 9.5 to 9.6. — 5 months ago

GK. Absolutely fantastic. I love the combo of restraint and purity on the no star Molitor GK’s. Palate is just brilliant. Cut from a crystal it’s so pure with just the right amount of luscious sweetness and spice. Nose is slatey with dashes is stunningly pure fruit like apricot and green melon. Palate is super juicy and has great almost tannic grip and then that tannin explodes on the very long finish. Stunning. — a month ago
