Maybe my new favorite wine. Beautiful pomegranate red, light and complex flavors - acidic, raspberry, tart cherries, sunshine... 60% Chardonnay, 40% merlot. It’s like these two grapes are dancing a beatific tango in my mouth. “Direct pressed Chardonnay onto whole cluster Merlot, co-fermented. Six month elevate in neutral barrels” — 23 days ago
Ruby red and pungently acidic. Balanced tannins, pretty dry and a little flat with the acidity. A little peppery and hints of lingonberries. I’ll have to give it a taste tomorrow to see if it’s less acidic.
Day 2: Definitely rounder now, medium bodied, but still tastes a little flat though at a slightly lower note. — a month ago
This wine is soooo yummy and poundable. Not too heavy, a little dry at first, but complex and balanced. You can taste the volcanic process. — 3 months ago
A most delightful bubbly rose. Floral with hints or strawberry and earth. Dry and delicious. — 2 months ago
Darker that what I normally gravitate to, definitely needs some air before drinking. Licorice or very ripe jam on the nose, lots of particulates, sharp bite followed by a long, almost regal tail. — 3 months ago
Powerful rosé with effervecent mouthfeel, dry, hints of strawberry (especially on the nose), round acidic fruit on the tongue, bitter aftertaste — a year ago
