France 2019 Avenue de Champagne also the Signature one — 7 years ago
Light gold in color.
Aromatic nose of flowers, citrus, lemons, apples, earth, herbs and spices.
Full-bodied with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with citrus, limes, green apples, herbs, earth, spices and minerals.
Tangy finish with limes and herbs.
This is a delicious and spicy White blend from Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Complex and interesting.
Showing a surprisingly complex nose for its age. Elegant and nicely balanced.
Still young, but already engaging, and will continue to age nicely in the next 5 to 10 years.
This special Cuvée from a great vintage in Southern Rhone, is neither bitter nor tart, and a great sipping wine that will also pair nicely with food.
A blend of Grenache, Roussanne, Clairette, Bourboulenc, Picpoul Blanc and Picard, all from Old Vines. A small production of only 4,000 bottles. Aged for 6 months in used oak barrels.
13.5% alcohol by volume.
92 points.

Popped and did a quick double decant to separate the sediment. Nose gradually opening to show beautifully pure dark cherry fruit, cedar notes, and wet clay earthiness. In the mouth it’s got good flavor intensity, and the texture is fairly soft and friendly for a ‘19 right-banker, which I’ve generally found to be a little burly so far in their youth. Could benefit from a few more years but definitely enjoyable now. Finish is maybe a little clipped, but still a great value. — 6 months ago
