Poured by the man himself. @Scott@Mister A’s-San Diego. Cheers. — 9 months ago
I really love everything they are producing. Beautiful complex wines. I find these have much more in common with great Côte de Beaune Chardonnay than they do with simple lemony flinty Chablis. It has that saline clam shell Chablis aspect but tempered with great use of oak. — 3 months ago
Over ripe lemon, crushed stone, slightly herbal. Trying out the new Glasvin Parr glass. — 5 months ago
🍇 100% Chardonnay | Chablis AOC, Burgundy, France
A true gem of a wine of pure, mineral-driven Chardonnay from the iconic Kimmeridgian limestone-clay soils that define the northernmost vineyards of Burgundy, brushing the southern edge of Champagne.
On the nose:
Delicately floral with a streak of flinty minerality and lifted citrus notes. Pure, focused, and elegant.
On the palate:
Absolutely dry and crisp, with vibrant acidity and a medium-bodied mouthfeel. Zesty lemon, chalky tension, and just a whisper of orange peel at the very back end of the palate. Finishes with salinity and length that’s tailor-made for oysters and seafood.
Mouthfeel overall:
Fresh, lively, and laser-focused, this is Chablis at its finest, clean, precise, and impossibly drinkable. The kind of wine that reminds you why Chardonnay rules the white wine world.
Pairing tip:
✨ The ultimate oyster wine, though equally brilliant with sushi, scallops, or a lemon-butter sole.
Can’t have enough of it, and you won’t want to either. Cheers! 🦪🍋🥂 — 10 months ago
Heerlijke pinot noir. Voor herhaling vatbaar. Lekker bij eendenborst. — 5 months ago
At 14% alcohol and a medium to medium plus cherry color this is a big #burgundy wine. Gevrey is always a little bit bigger than other villages, but this wine in particular and especially side-by-side with the Savigny-Les-Beaune seems particularly ripe and rich. It’s enjoyable and yet not what I was expecting only 3304 bottles made — 6 months ago
A regional 100% Chard sourced mainly from Côte d’Or (the Côte de Beaune and the Hautes-Côtes de Nuits), and Mâconnais deemed as Edouard’s house signature and sensible price point. Truly “à la mode” Chard that combines freshness of citrus, lemon and orange, with elegance and subtle aromas of mandarine peel. Barely any of cream, but soft on the mid-range palate with a finish of hazelnut and an amazing dry and clean completion of baked pear layers. — a year ago

Leaves my palate with the feeling of underwhelmed. Clean, pure, beautiful but want more from my WB’s. — 2 months ago
