1st wine of the new year and had to open something fun. Of course, enjoyed with its classic pairing of chicken wings π
1.5 hour decant(minimal fine/cloudy sediment). A stunning dark purplish magenta color. On the nose: brambly red berries, herbaceous, wet forest floor, graphite, floral. Taste: silky, soft, juicy, layered beautiful mouthfeel wine with red plum, dark chocolate, dried herbs, touch of spice and a cedar espresso captivating long finish. YUM! β 4 months ago
One of my favorite Bourbons. Eagle Rare 10y coming out of Buffalo Trace. Grab it when you see it.

Heavy for a Pinot - wonderbar β 2 months ago
A pale crimson with a tawny edge - almost transparent. A high quality Pinot Noir from Canterbury wizards Marcel Giesen and Sherwyn Veldhuizen. As I said last tasting note - pale but powerful. As good a new World Pinot Noir as you will find, and this is Bell Hillβs second wine. I canβt improve on the previous Delectable note from October 6 2023. These wines from Bell Hill arenβt cheap but are a lot cheaper than good Burgundy. β 2 months ago

Deep purple color. Beautiful aromas of red and purple fruits, leather, dried herbs and spice. Layered with complexity, pencil lead and cigar box finish. Insanely good, glad I got to partake.
