This is the closest I’ve ever come to Coche-Dury in a glass without actually drinking Coche-Dury. Same electric mineral snap. Same charged, high-tension citrus and stone. Same feeling of a white wine lit from within, like the whole thing is running on buried voltage. 2022/7/9-10 with chicken with white wine and tarragon, Kenji Lopez-Alt’s roasted potatoes, etc. This had a lovely, pure nose - high toned with citrus, flowers, minerals and a touch of sweet spice - with an invitingly juicy palate on day 1.
