Don Gregorio

Feudi di San Gregorio

Greco di Tufo

This is a wine that fits perfect on a hot summer day sitting outside enjoying the weather. Incredibly crisp and fresh, with the perfect amount of acidity. Pale in color, with great minerality. Very very good and would drink again — a month ago

Don Carlino Abruzzo Pecorino 2023

Ganz leicht oxidativ und etwas prickelnd. Schöne mineralik, feinherbe frucht. Seeehr überraschender Pecorino. I like the style!! — 3 months ago

Taurasi Aglianico 2010

After 15 years this is starting to shed its gloomy and cranky nature. Black fruit, volcanic minerality, tons of fiery and smoky nuances, refreshing acidity.
Very nice!

Don Melchor Puente Alto Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon 2021

Somm David T
9.5

Another property I have been.

These normally take some time before showing well. But this 21 was one of the top 10 in the 70 or so I tasted. Showing nicely & quite beautiful. 95-97 aged appropriately.

Cutizzi Greco di Tufo 2022

Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of an hour. The 2022 pours a pale yellow color with medium viscosity. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of tart tropical and citrus fruits: passion fruit, star fruit, lemon and limestone minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+ and acid zip is pronounced. Drink now. — 3 months ago
