This was drinking well showing red cherry, dark berry fruit, savory spice, earth & violets — 25 days ago
Decanted separately two bottles for Christmas lunch
Took time to open and second showed benefit of longer time to open with notes of wood with earth, cassis, black cherry and a hint of earthy floor. Showed excellent performance and flavours that also possessed benefit of cellaring and results in tremendous length and finish.
Top notch and likely will develop further — 21 days ago

Dried redfruit aromas, cigar box, this seems mature, still shows lovely acidity which keeps it fresh, long finish, solid St. Emilion! — 13 hours ago
There’s village and then there’s village. Gibourg made fabulous 2012’s and at age 12, the Vosne village is showing superbly, with seamless layers of fruit, mineral and spice, with the concentration of the vintage and the elegance and finesse of the site and winemaking yielding the perfect combination. In a great spot. — 16 days ago

Amazing nose after opening- vibrant with berries and rose. It fairly quickly took on aged character once drunk, however. Not bad at all, but surprising given only ten years of age. — 20 hours ago
