Beautifully aged Sancerre with all the works. Creamy lemon, silky green apple and a mineral driven long finish. Wow this level is new for me! — 8 months ago
In a great drinking window and classic Sancerre from a terrific producer. Single vineyard with tons of acidity. Lemon zest, crushed rock, hint of salinity. None of the chardonnay characteristics that a lot of Sancerre are showing with the warmer growing temperatures. — 18 days ago
Ripe pinot worth drinking now — 5 months ago
Light yellow in color.
Very pretty nose with citrus, oak and spices.
Dry on the palate with medium plus acidity.
Nicely balanced and elegant. Rich and delicate. Feels like a white Burgundy.
Good by itself or with food. Just wonderful and delicious.
Good right out of the bottle, and better after 45 minutes of airtime. Will continue to drink nicely in the next 5 years.
14.5% alcohol by volume.
93 points.

2015 vintage. Wonderfully light and fruity. — 7 months ago
The 2001 Le Clos du Caillou Reserve is probably the most thrilling effort made by the late Jean-Denis Vacheron. Deep garnet in color, the wine displays intense aromas of dried provence herbs, iodine, dried strawberries, red cherries and plums, blackberry liquor, leather, forrest floor and a dash of white pepper. Full-bodied, the palate is almost overwhelmed by insane levels of fruit concentration and elevated alcohol, but there is just enough acidity to keep everything in balance. The long lasting, persistent finish confirms a wine of outstanding quality. Drink now until 2030. — a year ago

Exactly as you would expect of an AOC SR from a best in class producer. Dried cranberries, Shitake mushrooms, black tea, raspberry leaf. — 10 days ago
