I had guarded expectations because I was not a fan of the 08, but this is quite good. Deep nose has deep old dark library furniture scent, gravel, warm spice, dark macerated cherries, dried roses, a little tar. In short, everything you want in an aged Nebbiolo. Soft, good acids, tannins very fine-grained and almost fully integrated. I wouldn’t age this much longer though, because it’s almost fully tertiary. — 7 days ago
Deep garnet; Medium plus intensity aromas of black cherry, dried black plum, blackberry, cherry pit, soy sauce, allspice, cinnamon, leather, mineral funk; dry, medium plus acid, medium plus tannins, medium alcohol, medium body, medium plus intensity flavors consistent with aromas; medium plus finish, well balanced, concentrated and intense flavors, very good — 16 days ago
Drank 5/19/20. Very nice with tomato and caper pasta.
Black cherry, sweet tobacco, clove, and earth dominate the nose. Sweet red cherry, black cherry, plum, and a hint of spice on the palate. Medium body and tannins on the finish.

Very nice and would pair with a wide variety of cuisine for around $11 — 8 days ago
Am always impressed by the intensity of flavors and long finish. You can tell it’s not over extracted by the bright color so that’s not where the intensity comes from. Lush red berries followed by some spicy notes with a touch of mocha on the finish. I always try to get my hands on some if I can find some. — 9 days ago
Love love love the beautiful ruby color of this wine! Lots of black fruit, black currant, black cherry, a little pepper, balanced acidity and tannins, vanilla and oak on the finish. — 5 days ago
A very special wine, made only in years where Sebastiano (Marco’s son) is able to fully ripen his Zibibbo/Muscat. Interestingly it’s made only from the offshoots of the cluster. If you love aromatic dances (like I do), this is for you. Micro-detailed imagery of salty lemons, Valencia orange, and green herbs - bone dry and delicate but with a little body from some time in oak and on skins. Unfiltered pale gold beauty. — 11 days ago
The 2019 Bonavita Rosato is an incredibly deep ruby color, so much so that you might mistake it for a red. On the nose, I’m finding an alluring mix of crushed cherries, offset by tangerine, rose petals, and the slightest hint of exotic savory spice. On the palate, soft textures usher in a remarkably pure expression of floral-laced red fruits and minerals, as it seems to hover across the senses over a core of vibrant acidity with hints of ginger and a gentle tug of tannin. The long finish is fresh but also showing a youthful structure, leading me to believe that this might be even better if given some time to unwind in the cellar. This blend of Nerello Mascalese, Nerello Cappuccio, and Nocera is really quite stunning. (Eric Guido, Vinous, May 2020) — 8 days ago
Simply refreshing. Great for hot summer days.
Went well with black peppered charred tomato and basil on bruschetta. Also paired well with lemon drizzled chicken, basil and jalapeño.
Well worth the money and would definitely buy again. — 12 days ago
