Pretty volatile soon after pouring. Calmed down with some time in the glass. But still unlikely to please everyone. The carbonic maceration is evident. With all of this, I ended up finding it to be an interedting and enjoyable expression of terroir. — 4 months ago
Still showing a lot of tannic and acidic structure, but enough fruit to keep it in check once it had a few hours of air, youthful still, and brawny. — 4 months ago
Strawberry, blueberry with medium acid, beautiful medium ruby color, medium body with dry ending. Great on its own, even better with duck breast. — 6 days ago
The fruit on this thing is ridiculous. So vibrant and pure. Dark cherry and zingy purple berries (David Crosby!). Crushed granite lurking in the background. So mouthfillingly fruity on the palate. But it’s got really electric, integrated acids. None of the slight disjointedness or astringent/bitter notes I’ve had in other ‘22s. Not super complex but I’m here for the fruit on this one! — 4 months ago

Drinking beautifully. Still lots of time left. Very young and need med to open up prior to drinking. — 7 days ago

Finally got to drink one of the famous #morgon producers. Sappy red fruit, touch of enticing funk, purple floral notes and some sous bois aromas. Lushly textured on palate, iron, lofty acidity. Sure it’s a bit young but had to seize the day on this occasion. #foillardftw — a month ago
