Last bottle from WTSO or Cinderella, cherry cinnamon on nose, cherry earthy mild tannins that lead to bigger mouth feel then body supports. Good length.tannins persist with lingering tobacco. Nice — 3 years ago

Deep woods, dirt, blood, on the nose . Lots of blue/red fruits. A bit tight, I PnP, gave it a good 45 mins out. I get some wood… now that could be my weird post covid mouth….or not.
A ‘16 from Castelletto, lush and forward, but I sense lots of aging potential. I have 1 more. No rough edges, a bit of acidity on the back which is nice and lifting.
Tannins nicely integrated and fine. Manzone’s site only indicates neutral casks, not what wood specifically.

Both you and Liz liked this one quite a bit. Some strawberry and rhubarb she says. I like that it has some weight. Would def buy it again. — 4 years ago
Superiore. A little farmy, good Barbera acids, some graphite, stewed cherries. From Prospect Wines. 11/13/2023 — 6 months ago
Tannic but not too much, fruit but not overly ripe, distinct dried flower notes. Ah, tradition. Really good old school barolo. — a year ago
I’ve been enjoying opening young inexpensive Nebbiolo the last week. It’s a fun contrast to the aged Nebbiolo I have that seems to be in a slump. Tannic but also cherry and energy. After a few days it tastes aged, with tobacco and spice predominating, but alas the tannin did not recede. — 4 years ago

Excellent wine with some fruit mainly strawberries and some earthy elements. Very smooth and integrated with a long finish. Think it would have been a bit better with some time but it was opened and poured.
