Absolute gusto! Prior: After I Practiced my civil duties , I wanted to ease back in my sipping seat to do some deflecting/reflecting on the last 4 years of this political climate. I can only hope for the best man to win but with this tasty wine in my glass I don't need to stress about who wins because what difference will it really make?! Happy election day everyone!🖐️ — a month ago
Don’t drink a lot of Bord and not sure how to class this one...fragrant nose and appropriately austere but ultimately seemed stilted, wooden. Need to try again maybe after some air (or age) — 10 days ago
Beautiful purple / garnet color. Fine and complex nose, fruity and floral: peony rose. Deep on the palate, somewhere between a beefy Burgundy Pinot Noir and a Syrah from Rhone-Nord; to be mistaken. At first glance discreet, the finish reveals itself on tender and finely persistent tannins. The whole is very homogeneous and dense. A wine with a Burgundy style, delicate, which will be able to age for a number of years.
Belle robe pourpre/grenat. — 14 days ago
Had this with a little cheese and loved it. Sally wasn’t so keen. Said it was ‘too thin’. — 17 days ago
Extraordinaire ! An appropriate wine to celebrate Trumps departure from the presidency! — 15 days ago
Beautifully balanced Cornas. Powerful dark berries on the nose & palate with some peppercorns on the nose. The palate is layered & complex with savory/briny/smoky character enhancing the fruit. For all the power, the weight is effortless. Pretty stuff. — a month ago
