I thought this one was great one. Sweet, fruity, medium bodied and easy to drink. — a year ago
Young winemakers making serious noise in the area. I’m following. There’s some funk that blows off quickly and underneath is a chunky, complex and chiseled expression. The terroir really comes through on the edges, slate and mineral. Crushed red fruit and herbs on the mid palate. Could use some time. Very interesting and provocative. Falls somewhere in between old school rusticity and the energy you find in good examples of new school minimalist winemaking. — 4 years ago

Byron C Mayes
Bright straw gold. Abundant nose of minty baked quince. Surprisingly complex medium palate confirms the nose with eucalyptus replacing the mint and adding hints of orange and white pepper. Medium acidity. The wine is clearly oaked (French, of course), but the oak is well integrated, adding an "equal partner" flavor component instead of an added feature. Moderately long finish continues the palate. Reminiscent of Petit Chablis without the inherent disappointment. Drink now with poultry, weighty fish, and pot pie. — a month ago
